More than seven years ago, Nerio Morales’ life was dedicated to civil construction and his work as a pastor in his community in Georgia. A Venezuelan immigrant who has lived for decades in the United States with his family, Nerio always held a dream: to share the authentic flavor of his homeland with the people around him.

At 60, he decided it was time to build something different. Not with bricks, but with corn, seasonings, and a lot of dedication. The project started humbly, in the garage of his house. It was there that Nerio began to produce his famous empanadas de maíz, using his family’s recipe and a special seasoning, a secret that gave a unique touch to every bite. The objective was simple: to cook for his community, offering a product of incomparable quality

Today, Quesitos Express is a network with 10 stores in the Atlanta area, employing dozens of staff members and serving thousands of customers.
